Skills Development Employment Benefits – Quesnel

What is it?
The Skills Development Employment Benefit program may provide financial assistance to people who need training to find jobs. Financial assistance may be available for living expenses, tuition, books/supplies, daycare and other costs associated with training. All costs are negotiated on an individual basis.

Who Can Apply?
In order for individuals to be eligible to apply for this program they must:

  1. have an active employment insurance claim or a claim within the last three years or a maternity/paternity claim within the past 5 years;
     
  2. be referred by a Service Canada authorized employment consultant and have a completed “Return to Work Action Plan”
     
  3. complete Bear Valley's SDEB application form.
